Three people—Alex, Blake, and Casey—are sitting in a circle. When their eyes are open, they can see everyone except themselves. When asked who has their eyes closed, they respond:

Alex says: "I see one person with closed eyes." Blake says: "I see one person with closed eyes." Casey says: "I see two people with closed eyes."
Only one of them is telling the truth.

Changes in pupil sizes

Poetry and paintings use the hidden eyes' messages to share secrets. Artists put a lot of attention on how to paint the pupils to convey some message. We can control the eye movements, but not the pupil because it's an involuntary response.
The name 'pupilla' originates from the Latin spoken in ancient Rome (meaning the "little doll," that is, the mirror reflection of the viewer - upside down - within the eye of the person viewed).
