Embrace inclusiveness in a world full of egocentrism

Becoming the one who... breaks echo chambers

These 2 concepts are not in antithesis, but depending on the dosage, egocentrism could totally eliminate inclusivity from the scene. How could we develop empathy as a transformative skill at the center of our personality?
It's like being able to make yourself invisible and step into another's shoes. Somehow touching that beautiful depth of different perspectives. What will liberate us, because once we understand that through connection we can avoid conflicts, we will find the key that opens the door to empathy.

How would it be to deliberately seek perspectives different from your own?
If we manage to expose ourselves as often as possible to ideas that contradict our existing beliefs, then we'll be inspired to think at 360 degrees. Let's manage to break out of loops and advance in the spiral of thinking.

Let's look at what Practical Strategies look like:

  • Consuming media from multiple sources

  • Engaging with people from different backgrounds

  • Actively listening to opposing arguments

  • Suspending immediate judgment
